Corey Don Roberts, B.S., EMT-I, AEM
Triad Healthcare Preparedness Coordinator/ Planner

Corey Don Roberts has been the Regional Healthcare Preparedness Coordinator for the Triad region since 2014. He has a Bachelor of Science in Emergency and Disaster Management from Western Carolina University and is a certified North Carolina Associate Emergency Manager.  Corey has 20 years of public safety background coming from the fire and rescue department, emergency medical service and county emergency management. As the regional planner he assists the regional healthcare infrastructure with emergency operations plans, exercises and strategic long range planning to ensure the resiliency of the local community, region and state.

Alexis Lorenzin, B.A., EMT-P
Triad Healthcare Preparedness Finance/ Administration Coordinator

Alexis Lorenzin joined SMAT II team in 2004 as a volunteer, having recently completed paramedic school through the CMC Center for Prehospital Medicine. A graduate of Davidson College, she worked originally in the Information Technology field as her full-time career, and worked and volunteered as a paramedic on weekends. Over the last ten years her involvement with the SMRS system broadened, and she joined the staff of the Triad RAC (now the Triad Healthcare Preparedness Coalition) in 2013 as our Financial Coordinator, helping to manage the grant funds and support healthcare preparedness in our region with our team.

Karlee McQuillen, M.P.S.
Triad Healthcare Preparedness Operations Coordinator

Karlee McQuillen joined THPC as operations coordinator in April 2017.  She is a Penn State University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in health policy and administration and a master’s degree in public health preparedness.  As operations coordinator her roles include operational response planning, coordination of resource allocation and regional resource requests. As well as, maintaining operational procedures and guidelines.

Jerry Tysinger, EMT-P
Triad Healthcare Preparedness Logistics Coordinator

Jerry Tysinger has served as the Logistics Coordinator for the Triad RAC/ DPC for 8 years.  He has an extensive background in public safety.  Jerry has been a member of the Welcome Fire Department since he turned 16 years of age and has worked for Davidson County EMS as part time or full time for 21 years.  As the regional logistics coordinator jerry ensures proper operation of equipment and assets for the region and maintains a fleet of vehicles and equipment that stand ready to respond to any emergency.  Jerry is a CDL-A OTR tractor trailer driver and is called upon quite often to assist the region and the state with resource relocation.
